Q: How do you control the quality?

A: This is most likely caused by oil contaminants (spin finish oil, loom oil) attached to the fabric during weaving or storage. The oil is not completely removed in finishing processes, leading to dye repellency and the formation of colored spots during dyeing.
Q: The fabric turns yellow after being stored for a period of time.
A: This is commonly referred to as phenolic yellowing. It is not a dyeing defect of the fabric itself. Phenolic antioxidants volatilize in enclosed storage spaces, contact the fabric, and react with nitrogen oxides to produce yellow substances.
Prevention measures:
Use eco-friendly packaging free of antioxidants, and keep the warehouse dry and well-ventilated;
Choose dark shades for dyeing, or add anti-phenolic yellowing auxiliaries to light-colored fabrics.
