This structure provides a waterproof rating while maintaining high MVTR(Moisture Vapor Transmission Rate) . Unlike standard waterproof materials, it prevents the clammy sensation caused by internal condensation. Modern versions are often lightweight, windproof, and treated with DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finishes, making them ideal for extreme weather and high-intensity activities.

Q1: Spots and stains appear on the fabric.
A1: This is most likely caused by oil contaminants (spin finish oil, loom oil) attached to the fabric during weaving or storage. The oil is not completely removed in finishing processes, leading to dye repellency and the formation of colored spots during dyeing.
Q2: Why does the fabric become loose and lose elasticity after washing or wearing? Is the spandex broken?
A2: This issue is usually not caused by broken spandex filaments, which would only lead to localized loss of resilience. The more common cause is spandex elastic fatigue. Just like a rubber band that stretches out after long-term use, repeated stretching, especially high-temperature washing and drying, will temporarily relax the molecular structure of spandex. We recommend hand-washing in cold or lukewarm water, avoiding tumble drying, and laying the fabric flat to air dry. Its elasticity can usually be partially restored.
Q3: Fabric weight does not match the order requirement.
A3: Fabric weight deviation can be caused by various factors, such as abnormal fabric width and unstable shrinkage after high-temperature setting. Weight also varies at different positions on a single fabric roll. Our contract generally allows a tolerance of ±5%. If the deviation is excessive and unacceptable, please stop using the fabric and contact our after-sales team. We will arrange replenishment, payment deduction or compensation per contract terms if the issue is confirmed as our liability.
