A: This phenomenon is called frosting. Long-term local friction flattens the microscopic structure of fiber surfaces and increases light reflection. It is not actual color fading, but physical wear. Though nylon features good wear resistance, frosting cannot be completely avoided and is regarded as normal wear marks. Fabrics with textures such as matte finish, twill and jacquard can effectively reduce this issue.
Q: Moisture-wicking fabrics still cling to the body and feel stuffy when sweating.
A: The moisture absorption and quick-drying function relies on a complete process of wicking, diffusion and evaporation. Poor performance may result from the following reasons:
Repeated washing weakens the durability of functional treatments;
Overly tight garment design blocks air circulation around the fabric.
