Fabric explanation of blended nylon and spandex

Update:10 Dec
1. The blended fabric of nylon and spandex is a blended fabric. Nylon plus spandex is to increase the elasticity. The advantage of spandex itself is the high resilience rate, so it is not easy to crease when blended with nylon, and the body shaping effect is very good.

2. Spandex fiber has such high elasticity because its polymer chain is composed of low-melting, amorphous "soft" segments as the matrix and high-melting, crystalline "hard" segments embedded in it. The molecular chains of the flexible segment are cross-linked to form a certain network structure. Due to the small interaction force between the molecular chains, they can expand and contract freely, resulting in large elongation performance. The binding force of the molecular chain of the rigid segment is relatively large, and the molecular chain will not extend indefinitely, resulting in high resilience.

3. Chemical fibers refer to those fibers that are processed by chemical methods using natural or synthetic high polymers as raw materials. They can be divided into two categories: man-made fibers and synthetic fibers. There are two kinds of man-made fibers, namely man-made cellulose fiber (such as viscose fiber, strong fiber, etc.) and man-made protein fiber (such as soybean fiber, peanut fiber, etc.), while the camp of synthetic fiber is relatively large, with polyester fiber (ie polyester fiber) ), polyamide fiber (nylon 6, nylon 66, etc.), polyacrylonitrile fiber (acrylic), polyvinyl formal fiber (vinylon), polypropylene fiber (polypropylene), polyvinyl chloride fiber (chlorinated fiber), polyurethane Formate fiber (spandex).
