The difference between warp knitted and weft knitted fabrics

Update:14 Jan
Both warp knitting and weft knitting are made from crocheted yarns and are collectively referred to as knitted fabrics.
The difference between warp knitted and weft knitted fabrics:
1. The difference in fabric ductility: Warp knitting - limited ductility, usually a little bit horizontally, almost no vertical direction, weft knitting - good ductility both vertically and horizontally.
2. The difference between fabric disassembly: warp knitting - not easy to disassemble, weft knitting - easy to disassemble.
3. The difference between equipment debugging and transformation: warp knitting is complex and time-consuming, while weft knitting is simple and efficient.
4. The difference in production efficiency: warp knitting - can only weave (woven) plain cloth, only semi-finished products, weft knitting - can produce flat rolls and cylinder cloth rolls, and can be woven into garments, garment pieces and forming fabrics.
5. The difference in production volume: Warp knitting can only produce certain batches, and weft knitting can be produced in small batches (even 1 kg).
Comparing the two, warp knitting: A set of yarns (warps) are wound left and right along the fabric forming direction to form a fabric. The warp knitting machine is generally knitting needles arranged in an open width, and each needle in the multiple crochet needles drives a yarn to swing left and right. Adjacent yarns are wound into sets.
Weft knitted fabrics are warp knitted fabrics with stretchability, curling, and detachability due to the formation of loop knots. They have a stable structure, and some warp knitting and weft knitting with less elasticity are made of crocheted yarns. Sleeves, collectively referred to as knitting Fabrics, often corresponding to knitted fabrics are woven fabrics, also known as woven fabrics (fabrics composed of yarns in a cross relationship).
Fabric formation mechanism, warp knitting: a group of yarns (warp yarns) along the fabric forming direction are wound left and right to form a cloth, weft knitting: a yarn (weft yarn) perpendicular to the fabric forming direction is wound up and down into a cloth to form a piece of cloth.
