The main properties of spandex and plush fabrics

Update:31 Dec
1. Morphology The cross-section of polyester-type elastic fiber is broad bean-like, and the cross-section of polyether-type elastic fiber is triangular.
2. The tensile strength and elasticity of spandex is very low, and the breaking strength of its filament is about 4-9cN/tex, but spandex has a large elongation, with a breaking elongation of 450% to 800%, and its elasticity is very good. Therefore, high elongation and high elasticity are the biggest characteristics of spandex.
3. The hygroscopicity and dyeability of spandex are poor, and the moisture regain rate is about 0.8% to 1% under normal atmospheric conditions. But its dyeing performance is better.
4. The density of other spandex is better, only 1~1.3g/cm3. In addition, spandex has better acid and alkali resistance, solvent resistance, light resistance and abrasion resistance. Five, vinylon:
Vinylon is the trade name of polyvinyl acetal fiber, also called Vinylon. Its performance is close to cotton, and it is called "synthetic cotton. It is the most hygroscopic variety among existing synthetic fibers."
Features and uses:
Hygroscopicity: Vinylon is the most hygroscopic variety of synthetic fibers, with a moisture absorption rate of 4.5% to 5%, which is close to cotton (8%). Vinylon textile cloth is comfortable to wear and suitable for making underwear.
Strength: The strength of vinylon is slightly higher than that of cotton and much higher than wool.
Corrosion resistance and light resistance: Insoluble in general organic acids, alcohols, esters and petroleum lamp solvents, it is not easy to mold, and the strength is not lost when exposed to sunlight. Disadvantages: The hot water resistance is not good enough, the elasticity is poor, and the dyeability is poor.
Vinylon is soft and warm, and its relative density is lower than cotton, so Vinylon with the same weight as cotton can weave more clothing.
The characteristics of plush fabrics are as follows:
1. The appearance is light and clean, with good air permeability and drape;
2. The texture is soft, light and transparent, and the hand feels smooth and elastic;
Third, it is very comfortable to wear on the body, very elegant;
4. After high temperature shrinkage treatment, it is not easy to deform and wrinkle;
5. Good physical properties, high fiber strength, abrasion resistance and durability;
6. Good chemical performance, alkali resistance, chemical resistance, insect resistance and anti-mold.
