Q: The fabric fades due to friction or sweat.
A: This relates to color fastness. For nylon-spandex and polyester-spandex fabrics, dark and bright colors in particular tend to have lower wet rubbing and perspiration fastness. We use mid-to-high grade dyes, with color fastness generally reaching Grade 3 to 4 (the national standard pass mark is Grade 3). If you require superior color fastness, please specify your requirements when placing fabric orders.
Q: Discoloration to white appears on elbows, knees, hips and other areas after wearing.
A: This phenomenon is called frosting. Long-term local friction flattens the microscopic structure of fiber surfaces and increases light reflection. It is not actual color fading, but physical wear. Though nylon features good wear resistance, frosting cannot be completely avoided and is regarded as normal wear marks. Fabrics with textures such as matte finish, twill and jacquard can effectively reduce this issue.
