Yarn Count Classification
Coarse Yarn: Pure cotton yarn with a count of 18 or lower, mainly used for weaving thick fabrics or napped/looped cotton fabrics.
Medium Yarn: Pure cotton yarn with a count of 19-29. Mainly used for general-purpose knitted garments.
Fine Yarn: Pure cotton yarn with a count of 30-60. Mainly used for high-end knitted fabrics.
Fineer Yarn: Pure cotton yarn with a count of 60 or higher, used for high-end knitted fabrics.
Cardled and Combed Yarn
Cardled Yarn: Yarn spun using the carding process, also known as uncombed yarn.
Combed Yarn: Yarn produced using high-quality cotton fibers as raw material, with an additional combing process compared to carded yarn.
Knitted Fabric Weight
Generally refers to the weight in grams per square meter of fabric. Weight is an important technical indicator for knitted fabrics. Generally speaking, the heavier the weight, the thicker and more substantial the fabric.
