Knitted fabrics are woven fabrics made by interlocking loops of yarn, and are a major type of fabric. Knitted fabrics have good elasticity, are moisture-wicking and breathable, comfortable and warm, and are the most widely used fabrics in children's clothing. The raw materials are mainly natural fibers such as cotton, linen, silk, and wool, but also include chemical fibers such as nylon, acrylic, and polyester. Knitted fabrics have rich variations in structure, numerous varieties, and unique appearances. In the past, they were mostly used for underwear and T-shirts, but now, with the development of the knitting industry and the emergence of new finishing processes, the performance of knitted fabrics has greatly improved, and they are suitable for almost all categories of children's clothing.

Knitted fabric yarn count: Pure cotton yarn is a single yarn or ply spun from cotton with a certain fineness and unlimited length, suitable for weaving, knitting, yarn making, rope making, etc. Its specifications are commonly expressed in English count. The English count (Ne) of cotton yarn is defined as: the number of yards of cotton yarn with a standard weight of one pound. Calculation of cotton yarn count in English count: At standard moisture regain, how many 840-yard lengths of cotton yarn with a standard weight of one pound are called the English count. For example, a fabric containing 32 840 yards is called 32-count, and so on.
