Jacquard fabric, also known as jacquard weave, is a type of fabric with a large floral pattern. Its core technology involves creating raised or recessed patterns through variations in the warp and weft threads during weaving. It requires fine yarn counts and extremely high-quality raw materials (such as cotton).
Based on the weaving and dyeing process, it can be divided into single-color jacquard (dyed jacquard fabric) and multi-color jacquard (yarn-dyed jacquard fabric). Single-color jacquard involves weaving first and then dyeing, resulting in a solid-color fabric. Multi-color jacquard involves dyeing the yarn first and then weaving. Jacquard weaving can also be divided into large jacquard and small jacquard: large jacquard often features floral patterns composed of hundreds or thousands of warp and weft yarns; small jacquard often features simple geometric patterns such as stripes or checks, formed by variations in two or more weft threads.
